Since 1979 we advise in Monheim am Rhein. Four decades later, we are still not a large firm — on purpose. That shapes how we work.
Our history
Founded in 1979 by Klaus Peters. In 2001 Stephan Szarvasy joined with his focus on employment and traffic law, followed in 2007 by Moritz E. Peters with a focus on criminal and employment law. Since 2015 Dr. Doris Schröder, certified specialist in family law, shares our office. The continuity shows in the files: many mandates span generations.
Our philosophy
We believe in hand-work. A lawyer reads every file. A lawyer picks up the phone. A lawyer stands in the hearing. That means: you never talk to a ticket system. You get a direct line, a direct email, a name on every page.
Our values
We say "no" when a matter is not right for us — and we say it early. We write clear sentences. We name costs before you decide. We stay on the case when the law gets harder — not only when it is easy.
What we do not do
We do not sign frame agreements with legal-expenses insurers. We do not pay for awards. We do not chase headline cases to see our name in the news. And we never forget that a mandate is an exceptional situation for you — even when we handle it routinely.
